Welcome to diyFXhire by DTFX

We hire a wide range of DIY SFX gear and specialist production equipment from our premises at One Canal Road in Leichhardt, Sydney. 

Things like smoke machines, steamers and plastic bag sealers, and rain bars, electrical leads, turntables and KDs, fire extinguishers, heat haze bars and... 

We also sell consumables like smoke fluids and dust and propane canisters.

We offer convenient, secure, online credit card payment via Stripe, or by EFT if you prefer. 

Hire shop hours are 0800-1600h Monday to Friday.  We are closed on weekends. 

All 1, 2 & 3 day hires include day prior pickup and day after return. Collect your items the afternoon of the business day prior to your shoot day/s, and return the morning after the hire for no extra cost.  

We also offer a 4 day hire week - hire for 4, 5, 6 or 7 days, but only pay for 4.
